Best club in Southeast I dare to say. Huge club scene with daily different themes will blow your mind. It sometimes gets expensive to enter depending on on-going events for the night, but it is worth the money. Even if money is your primary concern to pick a nightlife on your beach holiday, there are some other "normal" nights or free entry for ladies and so forth. Check out this place: it is too good to miss if you do not live around.

I’ve really enjoyed living here! The staff is friendly and helpful, maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the property is well-kept.

Love this place! Went here for new year's eve. Very nice look inside. Lots of bars to get drink. Very fun atmosphere. Great music. DJ Will did a great job with the music. Had 2 girl dancers suspended above the dance floor. Very entertaining. Will definitely be back.

Rode past La vela last summer after leaving Destin just to see what it looked like. The building and parking lot look exactly the same as it did spring break 2001 - 2005. The wifey and kids had to hush me after about 30 minutes of telling my old La Vela stories. Even the iconic MTV sign is still on front of building. Those memories are still so fresh in my head after 20 plus yrs. Only wish we had smart phones back then so i'd have pics and video of memories.

Loved this place from 98 to 2001! Traveled here from Tallahassee (FSU) during my Spring Break those years. Still have many pics from my disposable cameras, there was no social media back then. The good ole days! Go Noles! Long live Club La Vela!

Hey I thought it was great... twice the age of anyone else there and still had a blast... use to work the club's in the early 90s and had to check it out...

Bought my $50 VIP Card which includes free entry to concerts & half price drinks for a Year! Which is great considering concert tickets are $25, $50 & sometimes $90 a show!

I know it says “temporarily closed” but in fact is closed permanently. I couldn’t help but leave a review of the best club IN PCB or all of FL, imo. I was googling the name of the club I loved back in my spring break days to take my bf to & was in disbelief to learn that it had closed. What a time to be alive!!! You had to be there!! Literally partying with hundreds of, great drinks & even better vibes. I rarely post photos of myself on Google but here’s a throwback of me at Club La Vela (circa 2017) ❤️ Maybe it will be revived one day! 🌟

the coolest place ever when it was open hurricane Michael came and destroyed it. Right on the beach gigantic pool huge stage thousands of people can't wait till they open it biggest Club in the USA

So let's get this right? It's a night club, it states "Party with Thousands" on every advertised paper and sign you see, it's in the top ten tourist and spring break Beach locations, has big name artists and musicians and you're going to complain about the price of admission and drinks? I mean it's not a free venue, how else they gonna pay for the upkeep and keep getting the bigger names to come? I loved this place when we went. Yes it was packed but we knew that before we even walked from the condo. Was a little bit of a wait to get a drink but there was probably 200+ people that night and that's low numbers compared to some nights on who is doing a show. Keep up the good work La Vela!
